Live Music with Kevin Horan

Tuesday Live Music with Kevin Horan, 5-8pm!

Recently voted one of NH’s 5 “Best Musical Acts” in The Hippo’s “Best of 2023”, Kevin Horan has solidified himself as a fixture in the local music scene. Be it through his solo efforts, or his former work with the Providence-based rock group, The Stone Road Band, Horan’s original acoustic-driven material blends elements of alternative, classic-rock, jam-band and pop-rock genres. His powerful vocals, energetic stage presence and percussive acoustic style accompany his dynamic songwriting and storytelling.

When performing solo he trades his high energy full band performances with a stripped down, intimate acoustic set, filled with humorous anecdotes and stories. He’ll have you laughing one moment and quietly engaged in song the next.

Board Game Speed Dating - (Ages 25-39)

Board Game Speed Dating - (Ages 25-39)

Finding someone can be painful. But board games are always awesome. So what if you combined board games and searching for a partner?

Picture this: You sit down for a night of games. A gaming concierge walks you through several games over the course of the night. You play classics you love and discover brand new games you've never heard of, playing each with a different group of fun singles. All while in a great establishment with plenty of delicious options on tap. At the end of the night, you give your gaming concierge a list of the folks you met that you'd like to date and a list of those you met that you'd like to just hang out with as friends. If any two people put down the same name as each other in either column, then your gaming concierge will make sure you get each other's e-mail address and you can coordinate a time to hang out.

Best case scenario: You find true love, discover some awesome board games, and make some new friends.

Bad case scenario: You accomplish only one of those three things, which is still pretty great.

Worst case scenario: There will be alcohol.

Before you decide to buy tickets, a few basics we should cover:

1) This event is for men & women, ages 25-39. We also have events for gay men and queer women. And we're hoping to add events to serve even more people in the future! Head over to https://www.quirkevents.com/new-hampshire to see what else we have to offer. (If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, you'll be able to join our mailing list and get notified about future events. Plus, joining our mailing list gets you 50% off your first ticket purchase!)

2) To stay up-to-date on everything we have going on at Quirk Events, follow us on Instagram here!

3) Refunds are only available to those who cancel with more than 48 hours' notice, in order to make sure we have enough time to find a replacement for you and keep the event well-populated. (Exceptions will be made for emergency situations on a case-by-case basis). After that, we're blowing the money from your ticket sale on something awesome and nonrefundable.

4) If we get to 24 hours before the event and still haven't sold five tickets for each gender, we will cancel the event (and notify you). When we have run this event in the past, tickets have consistently sold very well, so we don't expect this to happen. But we thought we should cover this in case it came up.

5) How many games we have and which ones we use will be based in part on how many people attend, so we can't tell you for sure what we'll have right now. But the goal is for all of them to be fun, light, easy-to-learn games. Selection will include games from both the something-you-have-played-before category and the something-you-haven't-played-before category. The games are also chosen because they often tend to spark conversation and leave room for chatting with new people as you play. All games will be group games, meaning you'll get a chance to meet a handful of people with each new round.

Vulgar Lagerfest 2025
Sep

12:00 PM12:00

Vulgar Lagerfest 2025

A festival for lovers of lager! Each brewery from around New England will be pouring nothing but lager beer. Live music, Oktoberfest themed food, and a big game of Rock, Paper, Scissors will return this year!

TLDR - Lagerbeer, Sept 20 2025, 21+, VIP $65 12-4pm, General $45 1-4pm, DD $15, music & food, no kids, no dogs, rain or shine

GATHER YE WHO THIRST FOR TASTE.
The hour is upon us. The sky burns amber, the air crackles with anticipation, and the time draws near—not in fire, but in foam. Step boldly into a new world, where golden liquid flows freely. Welcome to celebration... Welcome to Lagerfest!

As the sun reaches its zenith (noon), the gates shall part for the Chosen—those marked VIP, the prophets of malt and masters of the first sip. They shall commune with the brewers, the sacred architects of flavor, and taste what may be the last of our earthly pleasures.

But at the first toll of the afternoon bell—1:00 PM sharp—the great flood shall begin. The general masses will surge forth, called by the siren song of lager. This is no ordinary festivity. This is the great convergence of brew and being, the union of foam and flesh.

The breweries, summoned from across the land, shall pour forth their offerings: the crisp helles of lost empires, the robust bocks of forgotten dynasties, the pilsners once favored by kings and madmen. Each sip, a memory. Each pour, a prophecy.

And lo, the music shall rise—a final soundtrack to the world's unwinding. Two heralds of sound shall lift their voices, not to mourn, but to celebrate revelry. And when the hunger comes, as it surely shall, fear not the void—for Vulgar Brewing and the enigmatic Teenie Weenies shall provide sustenance, grilled and sacred, from their wheeled temples.

But beware, ye who drink without wisdom. Your goblet is bottomless, yes—but your flesh is not. Drink with reverence. Let each sip be a hymn. For those noble enough to abstain, the Designated Drivers shall walk among you, guardians of safe passage in these festive hours.

So raise your chalice, ye seekers of bliss, and toast to the waning light. To the end of the ordinary. To the beginning of memory. To the Mighty Lager and the joy that brought us together before returning to the mundane.

Lagerfest is for those 21 and older. The children and beasts must stay behind. Only true service animals shall walk this path.

CHEERS!
