Live Music with Kevin Horan

Tuesday Live Music with Kevin Horan, 5-8pm!

Recently voted one of NH’s 5 “Best Musical Acts” in The Hippo’s “Best of 2023”, Kevin Horan has solidified himself as a fixture in the local music scene. Be it through his solo efforts, or his former work with the Providence-based rock group, The Stone Road Band, Horan’s original acoustic-driven material blends elements of alternative, classic-rock, jam-band and pop-rock genres. His powerful vocals, energetic stage presence and percussive acoustic style accompany his dynamic songwriting and storytelling.

When performing solo he trades his high energy full band performances with a stripped down, intimate acoustic set, filled with humorous anecdotes and stories. He’ll have you laughing one moment and quietly engaged in song the next.

NHBA Base Camp Beer Fest

Details

For the past 10 years, the NH Brewers Association has brought beer lovers together to celebrate the incredible craft brewing community of New Hampshire. This year, we’re taking the party on the road, bringing the festival to a new corner of the state—welcome to the all-new NH Beer Trail Basecamp Festival!

Set against the stunning White Mountains backdrop of Tuckerman Brewing Co. in Conway, NH, this year’s festival is more than just a celebration—it’s your gateway to adventure. Featuring nearly 40 NH breweries pouring 100+ craft beers under one tent in the beer garden, the NH Beer Trail Basecamp Festival is the ultimate way to kick off your summer beer journey!

What’s on Tap?

  • Nearly 40 NH Craft Breweries – A beer lover’s dream under one tent!

  • 100+ NH Craft Beers – From flagship favorites to exclusive festival-only pours.

  • Live Music – Groove to great tunes all day.

  • Local Food Trucks – Savor delicious eats from NH’s best food vendors.

  • Local Vendors & Artisans – Shop unique, locally made goods.

  • Sunshine & Good Vibes – Because beer just tastes better outside!

Craft Beer is Community
New Hampshire’s breweries are more than just places to grab a pint—they’re community hubs where friends, families, and strangers come together to connect, unwind, and share stories. At the NH Beer Trail Basecamp Festival, we’re celebrating more than just great beer—we’re celebrating the people, passion, and sense of community that make NH craft brewing so special.

Why Basecamp?
With the relaunch of the NH Beer Trail Guidebook—a passport packed with exclusive discounts at NHBA member breweries—we wanted to capture the spirit of exploration and discovery that makes New Hampshire’s craft beer scene so special.

Formerly known as the Keep NH Brewing Festival in Concord, NH, this event is now your traveling basecamp for the NH Beer Trail, bringing breweries together in one place so you can sample a taste of the trail before setting out on your own craft beer adventure.

We will cover all the basics and prepare you to add those unique lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor, and more! The perfect crafty day out!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

Rochester Real Beer Fest

ABOUT THE EVENT /

The 13th annual Rochester Real Beer Expo will be bigger and better than ever before! The event will be held on Saturday June 7th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a pre-event VIP/Preview hour at 5:00 PM. The event will be held on the concourse at Innovative Field, home of the Rochester Red Wings! The festival is moving from Gregory Street to the baseball stadium concourse to allow for expanded brewery offerings and to provide covered areas in case of inclement weather. There is also ample seating and on-site parking. We’ll also be offering a free shuttle bus from the Wedge to the venue. Attendees can also enjoy ballpark concessions. The venue also offers more amenities, including restrooms! Click here for full details about the venue. PLEASE REVIEW THE STADIUM'S NEW BAG POLICY BY CLICKING HERE.

The free shuttle will be running from the parking lot of Postler & Jaeckle at 615 South Avenue to Innovative Field from 4:00 to 6:00 and then running from Innovative Field back to 615 South Avenue from 9:00 to 10:30 PM.

Local business owners from the award-winning South Wedge neighborhood have joined forces through the Business Association of the South Wedge Area (BASWA) to bring you Rochester’s biggest and best beer festival. This year’s edition will feature 75+ breweries, cideries, kombucha producers, and other craft beverage makers. There will be an increased focus on local breweries (about 10 more than last year), as well as non-alcoholic offerings. Along with a world-class collection of craft beers we will be serving up ciders, kombuchas and great foods from some of Rochester's favorite vendors. All against the backdrop of Rochester's finest live local musicians. Plus a few surprise twists that will delight and amaze you!

We love our neighborhood and we love good beer! We will bring you a beer festival that captures what is new and exciting in the ever-changing craft beer community. Too often we have found ourselves at beer festivals that simply offer all the same beers commonly available at any event. We aim to shake things up and present you with the type of beer event that WE would like to attend. When you go to a tasting event you should hope and expect to have your eyes opened to new experiences, and be comfortable and entertained and enjoy yourself. We can promise you that. Our neighborhood thrives on its creativity and diversity and we will bring you an experience that reflects that.

All of the proceeds from this event are rolled back into the neighborhood revitalization projects undertaken by BASWA, the Business Association of the South Wedge Area. Projects include public art, community events, improvements to our street lighting and sidewalk furniture, public landscaping and parks maintenance.

Live Music with Matt Siopes

Matt Siopes Live!

With 20 years experience playing throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Matt Siopes has made a name for himself as an interpreter of classic Folk, Americana, Blues, Classic Rock, and Soul/R&B. While keeping the songs recognizable and encouraging audience interaction, he weaves his own style and creativity into classics, as well as deep cuts. Always up for a challenge, Matt shows up with the expectation to play to the crowd. His setlists are adapted on the spot based on audience response, whether he is providing the background music for those enjoying a quiet meal or creating a high energy and interactive party. When not performing solo, he joins forces with Hal Holiday, as part of the Siopes Holiday Duo. Matt was a founding member of the Grateful Dead tribute band, Alligator Wine, as well as the Funkadelic tribute, Uncle Jam and the War Babies.

No matter the situation, Matt's authenticity, love for music and gratitude for being able to perform for others, shines through.

Live Music with Kevin Horan

Sunday Live Music with Kevin Horan, 2-5pm!
