Welcome to Åurora! A Nordic New England DIPA
This big New England double IPA has a Nordic twist - it was fermented with Kveik, a Norwegian farmhouse yeast. Generous hop additions of Citra, New Zealand Rakau, and Australian Enigma bring a mix of tropical fruit flavors - stone fruit and orange. The yeast adds a different twist and the overall result is more dry sophisticated cocktail than juicy party punch. This nice deeply dimensioned DIPA reminds us of long dark nights with Aurora Borealis as a reward.
